Carols and lessons
Join us as we come together to worship God
on this fourth Sunday in advent. We’ll be following
the gospel narrative of the Christmas story
interspersed with Christmas carols.
There will be light refreshments following the service.
Crib Service
Everybody is welcome to come and join in the celebration
at our Christmas Eve crib service. The children get dressed up
and help tell the Christmas story. It’s a really special way
to start the festivities, very timely for those children
who find it hard to wait for Christmas Day.
Christmas Eve Communion
It’s Christmas Eve and the church is all lit up. We’re all waiting for Christmas to begin.
This year we are blessed with Bishop Eleanor officiating. Come and celebrate Holy Communion with us.
Warm mulled wine and mince pies before the service.
Joint worship at Methodist Church
Join us as we come together with our brothers and sisters at Nafferton Methodist Church to worship God on this third Sunday in advent. We have kindly been invited to share a lunch after the service.

Harvest Festival
Come and celebrate this year’s harvest with us! It’s a chance to share what you do with the community. Have you grown or sewn something this year? Bring along the work of your hands and give thanks to God for all that He is doing through you.
In addition, we will be collecting storable food for Driffield Food Bank. Winter is approaching. Let’s do all we can to make sure none of our neighbours go hungry.
Afternoon Holy Communion
For anyone who was hoping to partake of the Eucharist today, there is Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church, Wansford, at 4pm. So, we can come to us in Nafferton in the morning, then join our brothers and sisters in Wansford in the afternoon.
